The Dome: A Weekend in Yosemite

I was lucky enough to spend the weekend in Yosemite this summer. I spent most of my 3 night camping trip in the highlands and not in the Yosemite Valley. On our way back to Sacramento my girl friend and I got to drive through the valley and snap this photo.

This was my first time in Yosemite. I was happy to get a mix of both the valley and highlands. What shocked me the most was the crowds in the valley, especially sense I just spend 3 nights seeing less than a dozen humans a day. It's only going to get more crowded as time goes on. I think I'll try and stick to the highlands, or visit during the winter when there are less visitors.
